Prime Minister Antonis Samaras expressed his confidence that political instability in Greece will be overcome.

Upon his arrival at the EU Summit, a day after the first round of Presidential elections, Mr. Samaras said that during the third quarter of the year, Greece has the highest surplus in the Eurozone and emphasized that this “spectacular comeback” is due to sacrifices of the Greek people that have been “unprecedented”.

“I will not allow the Greek political system to toy with the sacrifices and achievements of the Greek people”, he said and added: “The political instability in Greece will be resolved, soon”.
