Chelsea Manning was sentenced to 35 years for spying after he released thousands of classified documents to Wikileaks.

Chelsea Manning has been in jail for seven years so far and it was there that she requested for hormone replacement therapy and changed her name from Bradley Edward  Manning to Chelsea Elizabeth Manning.

During this time she made two suicide attempts.

Now President Obama commuted all but four months of her sentence. In total Obama has given pardon to 1385 people during his administration.
