The Cretan Bottled Natural mineral water Zaro received the golden award at the Berkeley Spring’s International Water Tasting event. The award ceremony took place in West Virginia, and the Cretan water, which comes from natural springs at the foot of Mount Psiloritis, took top honours among 600 other brands from around the globe. The evaluation process lasted for 2 days and the 12 judges that took part in the process considered the taste, texture, appearance and odour of the competing waters. US based brand Artesia from the famous Crystal waterfalls in Michigan took second spot, while Norwegian Svalbaroi Polar Iceberg Water came in third. It the second top tier distinction the Cretan brand received following its ITQi Superior Award Taste award last year.
