Second agreement signed with Expertise France to digitize public administration

The agreement contains reforms, such as the codification of Greek legislation and simplifications of procedures

Newsroom December 21 11:31

Administrative reform Minister Olga Gerovasili announced on Wednesday, during an event at the French embassy that “Greece signed a second agreement with French organization Expertise France, who provides advisory services and technical assistance for the reform of the public administration since 2013”.

The minister said the two sides have set a three-year strategy for the period 2017-2019. “In 2017, many reforms were made in digitizing systems and the aim is for this plan to proceed by the end of 2019, so that by 2020 the plan will have concluded.”

Gerovasili said the second agreement with France contains ’emblematic projects’ and reforms, such as the codification of Greek legislation and simplifications of procedures that will make the state simple, flexible, efficient, fast, without bureaucracy and with the necessary savings.

“At the same time, our goal is for our citizens not to need their physical presence but to be able to make all their necessary transactions with the State electronically,” she said.
