Half a century after their epic Cup winners’ Cup title in Athens, AEK Athens are celebrating their 3rd European basketball title following their defeat of AS Monaco (100-94) in the 2017-18 Champions League final before a packed crowd of over 15,000 at OAKA stadium in Athens. The Greek club had won their last Eurpean trophy 18 years ago when they lifted the Saporta Cup.
