Road closures in Athens due to celebrations of the Patron Saint Dionysius the Areopagite

There will be a procession of the Holy icon

Traffic diversions and road closures will take effect in Kolonaki, Athens today due to celebrations and the Liturgy of the Patron Saint of Athens Dionysius the Areopagite and the provision of his Holy Icon.

In particular, there will be a ban on stopping and parking of vehicles from 06:00, as well as temporary and gradual stopping of traffic from 16:00 until the end of the event, on the following streets of the municipality of Athens:

Skoufa St, in the section between Omirou Street and Filiki Etaireia Square.
Dimokritou St, in the section between Skoufa and Solonos streets.
Lycabettus St, in the section between Skoufa and Solonos streets.
Along the whole of Sekeri St.
Filiki Etairia Square.
Solonos St., in the section between Lycabettus and Kanaris streets.
Along the whole of Canari street.
