A 3.8 magnitude earthquake on the Richer scale was recorded felt on Mount Athos.

The tremor occurred shortly before 18:00 with the epicentre 26 km WSW of Paliouri Kassandra and focal depth of 10 km, according to the Geodynamic Institute.
