Greek exports to Saudi Arabia up by 107%

It amounted to €141.2 million compared to €68.2 million in the corresponding period of 2020

During the first quarter of the year, our country’s exports to Saudi Arabia, including petroleum products, amounted to €141.2 million compared to €68.2 million in the corresponding period of 2020, recording an increase of 107%, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

Compared to the Greek exports of the fourth quarter of 2020 (€88.7 million), in the first quarter of 2021 an increase of 59.2% is recorded, and this in the midst of a downward trend of the total exports of the EU countries. to Saudi Arabia (-7%) compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.

It is worth noting that in 2020, Saudi Arabia attracted a total of $ 10.4 billion in Foreign Direct Investment.
