KINAL Elections – Androulakis wins 37.1% of vote, Panandreou second with 27.6%

Loverdos came in third

With 90% of the votes counted, the result in the first round of the internal elections for the leadership in KINAL is now almost final. Nikos Androulakis is first with 37.11%, George Papandreou second with 27.6%, and Andreas Loverdos third with 26.6%.

Nikos Androulakis dominated southern Greece -including Crete, while he also came first in northern and central Greece. George Papandreou won in western Greece. In Attica, Andreas Loverdos won the majority.

The winner of yesterday’s crucial showdown for the course of KINAL, starting with the dynamics of the large turnout, is said to be determined to continue with the same clear strategy and method in the direction of “turning the page” and pushing for unity.
