Schools closed in Attica on Thursday and Friday – E-learning to be implemented

Students physically attending will have to provide Covid self tests

Newsroom January 26 04:01

The schools that will not operate with student physical attendance will implement distance learning tomorrow and Friday, due to the extreme weather phenomena, as the Ministry of Education said. E-learning is planned to be implemented in the morning, for both Primary and Secondary Education.

As announced by the office of the Secretary-General of Primary, Secondary Education and Special Education of the Ministry of Education, Alexandros Koptsis, ” tomorrow Thursday, January 27, 2022, and Friday, January 28, 2022, in all regions of the country where the operation of schools has been suspended after decisions of Municipalities or Regions, e-education will be implemented, in order to provide sufficient time for the restoration and functionality of the schools. In other areas, schools will operate normally. ”

What will happen to the self-tests

On the first day that the schools will open, after the end of the bad weather in Attica and the other affected areas, the students will have to present a negative self-test. This means that wherever the schools reopen from tomorrow Thursday, students will have to take a self-test tonight while if they go for Friday tomorrow and so on.
