Covid 19 Greece – 5,673 new cases , 46.01% of the intubated are fully vaccinated

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,564 patients have been discharged from the ICU

Greek authorities announced that the new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours were 5,673. Of the total number of new cases, 7 are imported.

The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,238,169 (daily change + 0.2%), of which 49.0% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 115 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 120,150 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 50, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 28,588 deaths have been recorded. 3 95.5% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 313 (66.8% men). Their median age is 70 years. 93.6% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

Among intubated patients, 169 (53.99%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 144 (46.01%) are fully vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,564 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
