Coronavirus Greece: 4,727 new cases, 41 dead and 267 intubated

46.07% of the intubated patients are fully vaccinated.

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours in Greece were 4,727. The total number of people who became ill is 3,290,895 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.9% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 121 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 121,432 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 41, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 28,976 deaths have been recorded.

95.5% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 267 (66.7% men). Their median age is 71 years. 92.9% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 144 (53.93%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 123 (46.07%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,593 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
