A 3.9 earthquake on the Richter scale occurred in Viotia shortly after 7 am on Tuesday. The tremor was felt in several areas of Attica.

According to the Geodynamic Institute’s automatic registering system, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter Scale and had an epicentre 7 km southeast of Ypatos Viotia.

The focal depth, according to the initial data released that occurred at 7:12 am on Tuesday, was estimated at 5 km.
