“Erdogan threatens Greece with war” writes German Bild

The German press records Turkey's barrage of provocative statements against Greece

Newsroom September 6 10:00

The largest newspaper in Germany, Bild covers the barrage of Turkish threats toward Greece, referring to the hostile rhetoric of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“Erdogan threatens Greece with war”, is the headline of the German newspaper Bild citing the Turkish president’s threats that “Turks night may suddenly invade the country in the middle of the night!”

“With these sharp statements, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened his EU neighbour Greece over the weekend”, wrote Bild.

During an appearance in Samsuda on the Black Sea, Erdogan expressed his anger at Greek military maneuvers last week, as Greek air defense systems in the eastern Aegean reportedly locked on to Turkish fighter jets.
