Heroic bystanders tackle alleged shooter at Kansas City Chiefs Parade (videos-photos)

Authorities believe the incident was crime-related and not an act of terrorism

Gunfire broke out at a parade commemorating the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory this week, resulting in multiple injuries and at least one fatality.

According to reports, the shooting took place near Union Station as the parade was concluding.

Footage from the scene depicted bystanders apprehending one of the suspected shooters and holding him until police arrived to arrest him.

Images from the scene depicted several individuals being detained by law enforcement officers.

Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves stated that 10 to 15 individuals sustained injuries in the shooting, clarifying that no children were among the victims.

Expressing frustration, she emphasized that attendees should have felt secure at the celebration but were let down by the actions of a few individuals.
