Thousands of Albanians took to the streets of Tirana since yesterday protesting and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the French Agency reported.

Moreover, some of the demonstrators threw Molotov cocktails bombs and stones at government buildings in the Albanian capital, which were guarded by a police cordon, without causing injuries or serious damage.

At the same time, Rama yesterday was on an official visit to Turkey, where he was meeting with Erdogan.

“Today we started our fight to remove the dictatorship of Edi Rama, who poses a real danger”, said Berisha, accusing the current head of government of corruption and a “political attack” against his family.
