International Cycling Tour of Greece 2024 by DEI: The starting point in Thessaloniki, the finishing line in Athens

The DEI International Cycling Tour of Greece 2024 returns for the third consecutive year, after its revival in 2022, with the race program evolving in this year's edition from 15 to 19 May 2024 in Athens

The Ministry of Sport and the Cycling Greece Organizing Committee, aspire to present one of the most complete events in the history of the institution, uniting the two major urban centers of the country:

Thessaloniki as the starting point and Athens as the finishing line, with an individual time trial and five stages (individual routes), which will pass successively through Katerini, Karditsa, Karpenisi, Sperchiada and Chalkida.

This year’s Tour will also include a “royal” surprise stage, worthy of the great Tours abroad, which will impress cycling fans and millions of viewers via worldwide television coverage.

Twenty teams from all over the world with 120 athletes, including the Greek and Cypriot national teams, will give the big battle for the blue jersey of the overall, as well as the individual rankings and stage victories.

“The DEI International Cycling Tour of Greece 2024 is constantly evolving and aspires to offer a high-level sporting and tourist event, comparable to the famous cycling tours abroad!

The DEI International Cycling Tour of Greece 2024 will be accompanied by a series of parallel activities for young and old, aiming at the understanding and development of the sport of cycling, but also the use of bicycles as an alternative means of transport.

Cycling Greece and the sponsors of the event, are waiting for you both on the routes of the race to admire, encourage and applaud the efforts of the cyclists, as well as in the parallel actions, to appreciate the value of cycling and love it in your everyday life.
