Insubordination, drugs, assault and battery are just some of the charges that the killer of 28-year-old Kyriaki, who took her life outside the Agioi Anargyroi police station on Monday night (1/4), had faced in the past.
According to police sources who spoke to protothema.gr, from the evidence collected from the investigation and from the man’s file, it is clear that he is a particularly violent and dangerous person who had been arrested for various offences from time to time. This was proven yesterday when he jumped in front of the unfortunate 28 year old woman and stabbed her five times, cutting the thread of her life in the most tragic way.
More specifically, the perpetrator of the killing had previously been arrested following allegations of rape and beating by his partner at the time, and a restraining order had been issued against him.
He had also been charged with drugs as well as assault, beating and disobedience. This is a person who, as the evidence shows, is unrestrained and dangerous without reckoning.

According to protothema.gr, the man told the officers of the police that as soon as the 28-year-old woman came out of the station, he told him that the police officers urged her to file a complaint, which she eventually refused. I was taken by surprise and didn’t have time to react. I didn’t notice him,” the eyewitness reportedly described.

At the same time shocking is the description of another eyewitness who spoke to protothema.gr. The witness who saw the perpetrator in a state of amok chasing his victim with a knife, described the moments of terror that the 28-year-old woman lived. “I was getting off the bus when I got off work.
And we heard the woman screaming ‘I’m getting death threats’. And he goes and runs off on his motorbike and stabs her in the back. Repeated stabbings,” she said of what happened Monday night.
