Facing a mammoth fine of up to $14 million, a 20-year-old in the US is facing a mammoth fine for pouring bleach into a salmon tank that killed 18,000 fish.

The incident occurred in Oregon after 20-year-old Joshua Alexander Heckathorn, 20, broke into the Winchester Bay Salmon Trout Enhancement Program facility.

After his arrest, he admitted that he had obtained the bleach a day earlier on April 22 when he went ahead with his heinous act.
