A 26-year-old man was arrested yesterday at noon in the area of Metamorfosi, by officers of the Sub-Division of Narcotics, for violation of the legislation on addictive substances and weapons.
In the context of actions for the arrest of drug traffickers and after investigating information regarding the defendant’s activity in the trafficking of cocaine and raw cannabis in the wider area of Attica, the defendant was identified and his criminal activity was certified.
The accused was located in the area of Metamorfosi. In his possession, after a check were found 6- improvised nylon packages containing 5.4 g of cocaine, ready for distribution.

As stated in a statement of EL.AS:
From a subsequent search in his home in the area of Vrilissia were found and seized:
- 149.6 g of cocaine,
- 70,708,000 rounds of cannabis, a rifle with 20 rounds of ammunition,
- air rifle,
- a folding pocket knife and a knife,
- 2 metallic iron barrels,
- folding rod,
- a car,
- the sum of 75.445- euros,
- 6 mobile phones and
- 3 electronic precision scales.
The arrested man was taken to the Prosecutor of Athens.
