Hotel Grande Bretagne: Summer movie nights with a view of the hotel’s pool

Dedicated to top actors who have stayed at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in its last 150 years of operation, the summer movie nights will start on June 6th and will take place every week, from Thursday to Saturday, on the 7th floor of the iconic hotel with the pool and the unique view. Cinephile viewers will have the opportunity to enjoy, under the stars, beloved classic movies as well as recent Hollywood successes, with actors such as Daniel Day Lewis, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Emma Stone, etc. The curtain for this year opens on June 6th, with the legendary 1957 film “Boy on a Dolphin,” directed by Jean Negulesco and starring Sophia Loren asking “What is this thing they call love?”

Coming up on the Pool Your Cinema screen: the movies “Poor Things” by Yorgos Lanthimos, “Did You Hear About the Morgans” by Marc Lawrence, “Inside Man” by Spike Lee, “The Prestige” by Christopher Nolan, and “Phantom Thread” by Paul Thomas Anderson will be shown. The cinematic experience is complemented by a high-level gastronomic experience, with the signature of the experienced chefs of the hotel. Perfectly accompanying a relaxing drink by the pool, the individual menu set with finger food includes classic dishes reminiscent of cinema: freshly popped popcorn with sea salt, organic nachos with handmade crispy corn tortilla chips, delicious tacos with lettuce leaves or tempura shrimp, mini cheeseburgers with juicy ‘Black Angus’ beef patties, as well as refreshing ice cream, will provide a different taste in every minute of screening.
