By mid-June, at the latest, all 110 electric buses will be in operation by mid-June

Newsroom June 5 06:49

By mid-June at the latest, all 110 electric buses of OASTH-88 will be on the streets of Thessaloniki, and “in about a month we will inaugurate the loading station located next to the organisation’s depot in Stavroupolis”, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Staikouras said.

“I am here today, once again, at the Electric Bus Charging Station under construction in Stavroupoli. The progress of the project, since 19 May, when we were last at the same site, is significant.

Today, 41 chargers are in operation, capable of charging, in an 8-hour period, 164 buses. The remaining 14 chargers will be operational in 10 days,” he said in a statement made during his visit to the OASTH depot.
