ELAS: Dual Operation Targets Two Occupied Buildings in Exarchia and Kypseli

The Tositsa Street building had been occupied for 5 years, while the Ferron Street operation took place in Kypseli

Early this morning, ELAS conducted a dual operation targeting occupied buildings in Exarchia and Kypseli.

In Exarchia, the police operation took place in a building on Tositsa Street that had been under occupation for the past five years. According to OPEN, the owner had appealed to the prosecutor’s office to regain possession of the property. In Kypseli, the eviction operation was carried out on Ferron Street.

According to reports, this building in Kypseli underwent an evacuation operation a few months ago and was handed over to a company. However, due to insufficient security, the building was re-occupied 2-3 months after the first intervention by ELAS.

So far, there is no information about the detentions of individuals from the two buildings, where poles and other objects are said to have been found.
