Newsroom June 20 09:49

The correlations of political forces are recorded in the first post-election poll of GPO, presented on the main newscast of Star.

As is obvious, eleven days after the elections, the parties’ percentages do not show any notable changes. In the voting intention, the New Democracy (ND) has 29.1%, SYRIZA 13.7%, PASOK 12.4%, KKE and Hellenic Solution 8%, Niki 3.3%, Plysi Eleftherias 3.1%, Voice of Logic 3.3% and New Left 1.9%.

For the first time since the elections, GPO’s survey for Star records the public’s opinion on internal party developments in PASOK.

On the direct election of leadership in PASOK, 66.4% say yes and probably yes, while 24.1% disagree.

Among all respondents, Nikos Androulakis is considered the most suitable for the leadership of PASOK by 20.7%, Haris Dukas by 16.5%, Pavlos Geroulanos by 13.3%, followed by Manolis Christodoulakis and Pavlos Christidis.

Among PASOK voters, Nikos Androulakis was chosen by 34.5%, Pavlos Geroulanos by 17.7%, Haris Dukas by 17.2%, followed by Manolis Christodoulakis and Pavlos Christidis.

The survey captures in detail the views of SYRIZA and PASOK voters in relation to the processes for the reconstitution of the centre-left.

Asked whether SYRIZA should cooperate with PASOK, among SYRIZA voters, 70.9% answered yes and probably yes. The same answer is given by 52.3% of PASOK voters.

Among the persons who are considered to be able to unite the centre-left, the first is Alexis Tsipras with 19%, second is Stefanos Kasselakis with 10.6%, third is Nikos Androulakis with 10.4%, fourth is Charis Doukas with 9.3%, followed by Pavlos Geroulanos, Manolis Christodoulakis and Pavlos Christidis. The highest percentage, 28.9%, is the spontaneous answer “none of them”.

Among SYRIZA voters, Alexis Tsipras comes first again, gathering 45.6%, followed by Stefanos Kasselakis with 27.2%. Among PASOK voters, Nikos Androulakis is first with 32.2%, followed by Alexis Tsipras with 13.2%.
