Norway: Princess Martha Louise’s Four-Day Wedding with Her Bisexual Shaman Partner

August 31st, the ceremony will take place in a UNESCO World Heritage fjord village - Boat trip, "sexy and cool" dress code for guests

Newsroom July 2 04:36

The wedding of Princess Martha Louise of Norway and her bisexual shaman fiancé, Durek Verrett, is swiftly approaching.

The couple will celebrate their nuptials with a four-day event at the end of August in Geiranger, a village famed for its stunning fjords listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The festivities will include a three-hour boat tour along the Norwegian coast and evenings filled with dinner and dancing.

As for the dress code, the invitation specified “sexy and cool.” Recently, Princess Martha Louise revealed on Instagram the officiant for their ceremony.

“We are happy to announce that Vicar Margit Lovise Holte will officiate our wedding in Geiranger on August 31, following the Church of Norway’s wedding service. Reverend Michael Beckwith, the founder and spiritual director of New Thought at Agape International Spiritual Center in Beverly Hills, California, will also join the ceremony with a greeting. We look forward to this beautiful day with great joy,” wrote Martha Louise about Norway’s event of the year.

She Stepped Down from Royal Duties in 2022

About two years ago, Martha Louise, a divorcee and mother of three daughters, decided to step down from her royal duties to focus on alternative medicine alongside her fiancé, who is a self-proclaimed shaman.

The palace announced that Martha would relinquish her royal duties but retain her title of princess, per the king’s wishes. The couple has since distanced themselves from the royal family.

Fifty-one-year-old Martha has worked as a medium and claims to communicate with angels.

Martha’s relationship with Durek Verrett has sparked controversy in Norway, particularly due to his claims in a book that “cancer is a choice.”

In a September 2022 poll, 17% of Norwegians reported a diminished opinion of the royal family, attributing this change to the princess and the shaman’s relationship.
