Eliza Vozemberg has been elected President of the Transport and Tourism Committee in the European Parliament with 33 votes, while Elena Kountoura has been named the third vice-president.

In her speech following her election, Eliza Vozemberg expressed gratitude to her colleagues and emphasized the importance of Greek interests, particularly in shipping.

The election of the presidency and the formation of the committees will continue this week, allowing the committee meetings in the European Parliament to commence normally starting in September.
