SEPA: Programmes for 75,000 jobs and training coming soon

Programmes will be implemented by the end of the year to increase employment, with green and digital skills at the top of the list

A series of new programs are expected to be opened next semester by DYPA, aimed at boosting employment and tackling unemployment. In fact, according to the latest official figures in June, the number of unemployed people reached 812,958, and the Labor Ministry is keen to have that number drastically reduced by the end of the year.

In this context, the DPA is launching a barrage of programs, utilizing the valuable resources of the Recovery Fund. At the top of the agenda is a grid of training activities that will focus on green and digital skills.

The programme will involve 30,00 unemployed people and will be implemented remotely over 12 months. In a similar framework, the training programme for universities is also being implemented, in order to enhance the profile of young people, to activate them to enter the labour market dynamically. The programme will support 25,000 unemployed people who will be trained in universities. The… sharing of places includes training actions by universities for 12,500 unemployed people and digital skills at a distance for another 12,500 workers.

The “fan” of programmes expected to be implemented by the end of the year also includes an action for training in artificial intelligence for 10,000 unemployed and remote workers and a vocational training programme for 10,000 unemployed professional drivers. The training will take place in person.
