The Rector of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Professor Gerasimos Siasos, in collaboration with the Mayor of Penteli Natassa Kosmopoulou, organized a team of specialized professionals in health care crisis management, consisting of pathologists, cardiologists and mental health specialists.

The specialized team of scientists from the Medical School of the University of Athens in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Minister Adonis Georgiadis and the Municipality of Penteli will be at the KAPI of Nea Penteli for the psychosocial support of those affected by the fire from Friday 16/8 at 10.00 am.

The action is part of the specialized postgraduate program “Global Health – Disaster Medicine” of the Athens Medical School on health crisis management issues, coordinated by Professor Emmanuel Pikoulis.
