According to a video aired by ERT, the atmosphere during the trip became dangerously charged, with tempers flaring and the confrontation intensifying. The incident seems to have started from a seemingly minor issue but quickly escalated.

It all began when a passenger expressed his complaints about a problem with the ship’s toilets. The crew, noticing his annoyance, attempted to calm him down and manage the situation with composure. However, efforts to resolve the issue failed, and soon the situation got out of hand, as the disagreements escalated, and both sides came to blows.

The tension continued when another passenger, witnessing the behavior of the man who started the fight, intervened. Demanding an explanation for the offensive attitude towards the crew, he triggered a new outburst of anger.

This second round of the argument was even more intense, causing the atmosphere to become explosive.

Ultimately, the tension subsided thanks to the intervention of more crew members, who managed to separate those involved and restore order on the ship.
