A search is underway Thursday afternoon (8/22) in Samos, for the location of a 65-year-old woman from the Netherlands.

Brigitte’s trail went missing this morning when she informed a friend by phone that she wished to walk around the Eupalinian Trench, on the outside, starting and ending at the Pythagorean, where she was staying in a hotel. However, she has since given no signs of life and her mobile phone has been switched off, according to samosvoice.gr.

In the afternoon her friend informed her of her disappearance and now Greek Rescue Team, Police, and Fire Brigade have been mobilized and are searching for her.
