An boat with two passengers was drifting uncontrollably last night, Thursday, August 29, in the sea area of Epanomi, in eastern Thessaloniki.

The Port Authority of Nea Michaniona was informed of the incident, and a patrol vehicle from the Hellenic Coast Guard (L.S.-EL.AKT.) was dispatched to the scene. Additionally, the boat “MICHALIS” SK 835, with a member of the Port Authority on board, set sail and located the drifting vessel.

The occupants were in good health.

Then, with the assistance of “MICHALIS”, the amateur boat was safely moored at the fishing shelter of Epanomi. The 1st Port Department of Nea Michaniona of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki is going to impose all the prescribed administrative sanctions.
