A near tragedy occurred on Monday, September 22, in Zephiri when a driver swerved into a 3-year-old child, hitting and slightly injuring him. The incident took place on Dimitri Plumbidis Street, with the vehicle involved yet to be identified.

After striking the toddler, the driver reportedly fled the scene, leaving the child behind. The young boy was taken to Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital for treatment, while police are actively investigating the incident to locate the driver.
