Galatasaray – PAOK: The Turkish police confiscated the Greek flags from PAOK fans

During the first inspection conducted by the Turkish police on the buses transporting PAOK fans, all Greek flags were confiscated - The Turks "welcomed" the Greeks with banners referencing the Fall of Constantinople

The organized transportation of PAOK fans to Constantinople for the match against Galatasaray in the first round of the Europa League League Phase is currently underway.

The buses carrying PAOK supporters were held at the border for three hours and during the first inspection by the Turkish police, all Greek and Vergina Sun flags that the passengers had with them were confiscated.

In addition to the organized group of PAOK supporters traveling together, there are also fans of the Greek champions who traveled individually and have already arrived in Constantinople.

At this time, PAOK fans who are in the city have started gathering at Sultanahmet Square, preparing to head to “RAMS Park” using public buses.
