The US space agency did not reveal the identity of the astronaut, nor the reasons why he remained in hospital

Next week, the NASA space agency announced on Wednesday that it had just launched its first space station in the space station’s space station. The US space agency did not disclose the astronaut’s identity or the reasons why he remained in the hospital, citing “medical confidentiality”.

He is one of three Americans on SpaceX’s Crew-8 mission. Matthew Dominic, Michael Barratt and Janet Epps returned to Earth Thursday night into Friday on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft after spending 232 days on the ISS. Russian cosmonaut Alexandr Gebenkin was also a member of the mission.

After the rocket touched down off Florida, NASA reported that one astronaut experienced a “medical problem”. All of them were taken to a hospital in Pensacola, underwent tests and all three were discharged and have already arrived at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The only astronaut who remained for treatment is “in stable condition and under observation as a precautionary measure,” NASA said.
