Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, today welcomed the first results of the US presidential election, as the Republican candidate looks set to win.

“On the way to a beautiful victory,” Orban wrote on his Facebook page today, accompanying the post with a photo of him in front of a TV screen broadcasting the US vote count.

The Hungarian prime minister has made no secret of his admiration for his “friend” Donald Trump, with whom he has met twice this year.
