The body of a foreign national was discovered on Fara Beach in Lesvos on Monday afternoon by Coast Guard personnel.

Meanwhile, 26 individuals were found safe in a nearby, rugged area. A search and rescue operation, coordinated by the Unified Coordination Center of the Coast Guard, is ongoing in the surrounding sea area to locate any potential missing persons.

However, according to testimonies from the rescued individuals, no one is reported missing, and their dinghy was found on Fara Beach.
