Festive New York, a cinematic setting

Words such as glamorous, magical, enchanting, are not enough to describe the famous city that stages itself and sparkles on Christmas and New Year's Day

Newsroom December 20 09:15

New York knows how to treat the millions of tourists from the U.S. and the rest of the world who fill the city for the holidays. It gives the maximum and gets it back in multiple ways. So, every year, the city presents countless spectacular events, shows, concerts, plays, dance performances, and Broadway musicals.

Fifth Avenue window displays, Christmas villages, large ice rinks, themed rides in the parks, giant trees among which Rockefeller Center stands out, and light shows in the towering skyscrapers are just a few of the attractions. Most of the events have corporate sponsors.
The clock is ticking down on the turn of the year in Times Square and the biggest party in New York City, with giant screens and TVs filled with images of colorful crowds, thousands of lights, and fireworks. On the Wishing Walls, visitors stick colorful post-it notes, which will then be turned into millions of confetti that will be flown from high above the city at the turn of the year.
