We’ll be weather in the coming days with temperature to rise and reach 17 degrees Celsius on New Year’s Eve.

According to the EMY, on Monday the temperature will rise and will reach up to 12 degrees Celsius in the north, 13 to 14 degrees Celsius in the eastern mainland and the Aegean and 15 to 16 degrees Celsius in the western part of the country.

On New Year’s Eve the temperature will rise slightly, but in the northern mainland in the morning hours there will be frost in some places. It will reach 12 to 13 degrees Celsius in the north, 14 to 15 degrees Celsius in the eastern mainland and the Aegean and 16 to 17 degrees Celsius in the western part of the country.

  2. Thessaloniki: 5-13 degrees Celsius
  3. Patra: 9-14 degrees Celsius

  5. Larisa: 4-12 degrees Celsius
  6. Florina: 2-9 degrees Celsius
  7. Heraklion: 10-16 degrees Celsius

The EMY forecast for Monday 30 December

Generally clear weather in most of the country and only in the east (mainly in the Aegean) will there be local clouds. Showers are expected in Crete and occasionally in Evia, the Cyclades and the eastern Aegean. Light snowfall will occur in the mountains of Crete. Visibility in the morning and evening hours in the west, central and northern regions will be locally limited.

Winds in the west, central and north will be variable 3 to 4 Beaufort. In the remaining areas the winds will be north 4 to 6 Beaufort and in the Aegean Sea locally 7 Beaufort.

The weather will be mainly north-western and north-eastern Europe, with north-western and north-eastern Europe in the north-eastern part of the country.
