DYPA: Hiring date set for 90 positions in infant and toddler centers

Starting tomorrow, Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 18:00, applications will open for a total of 90 fixed-term contract positions as part of the initiative “Promotion and Support of Children’s Integration into Preschool Education, as well as Access to Creative Engagement Services for School-Aged Children, Teenagers, and Individuals with Disabilities for the 2024-2025 Period.” These positions will be for staffing DYPA-affiliated infant and toddler centers under the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

The application deadline is Monday, March 10, 2025, at 23:59.

Applications must be submitted exclusively online at:

DYPA has issued a statement urging applicants to carefully fill out the required fields, following the detailed instructions provided in the manual and outlined in the “Annex to Fixed-Term Employment Contract Announcements (SOX)”, marked with the “10-06-2021” edition. Any errors in completing the application may result in incorrect scoring for the applicant.

Once the application is officially submitted, candidates will receive a printable confirmation of “ASEP SOX 1PE/TE or SOX 2DE/YE FORM”, including a protocol number, exact submission date, and time.

The 90 positions available under fixed-term private law contracts will last from the contract signing date until August 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal or extension if the program continues. The positions are distributed as follows:
Attica (38), Aetolia-Acarnania (7), Arta (3), Achaia (4), Drama (3), Igoumenitsa (6), Imathia (5), Thessaloniki (2), Ioannina (2), Kavala (4), Karditsa (3), Messinia (2), Xanthi (3), Rodopi (5), Serres (1), and Trikala (2).

Each applicant may only submit one application and for only one personnel category (PE, TE, DE, or YE).

Submitting applications for multiple personnel categories (in one or more applications) automatically results in disqualification and the cancellation of all applications.

  • Applications submitted by any means other than DYPA’s platform will not be considered.
  • Timely submission is determined by the date and time of the online application submission to DYPA.

DYPA’s infant and toddler centers operate from September 1 to July 31, Monday through Friday, from 06:45 to 16:00. They accept infants and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years old, and their care is provided free of charge.

According to the announcement, a daily creative engagement program is in place to support the children’s holistic psychological, physical, and educational development.

Selection criteria include economic factors, prioritizing lower-income families, as well as social factors (families with multiple children, single-parent households, orphaned children, parents with disabilities, etc.).
