Nina Flohr signed a document as “Princess of Greece”

The Swiss-born businesswoman did not adopt the name "de Grece" as many had expected

Newsroom February 26 02:53

The way Nina Flohr signed the annual report of the luxury exotic resort she owns in Mozambique has drawn attention, as the wife of Philippos de Grece chose to sign as “Princess of Greece.”

Although many expected the Swiss-born businesswoman to adopt the surname “de Grece,” especially after the former Royal Family members reacquired the Greek citizenship, she seems to have a different perspective.

She is also referred to in the same way online, as a simple Wikipedia search shows her listed as “Princess Nina of Greece and Denmark.” Additionally, in a feature on the resort’s website, she uses the same title.

At the same time, Nina Flohr has founded the BCSS Scientific Center in the region, focusing on the study of marine ecosystems. In the introductory note of the report based on the Center’s research, she mentioned that the BCSS team was invited, as part of World Ocean Day, to speak about its unique work, which is beginning to gain international recognition. According to the Center’s data, its scientific database now connects more scientists, research programs, and institutions than it did the previous year.

In closing, Nina Flohr expressed her gratitude to everyone contributing to the realization of her goals, thanking her teams and supporters, who, as she stated, “bring their journey to life.”

Nina Flohr and Philippos de Grece, son of the former King Constantine, were married at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens in 2021 and have since divided their time between Athens and London. In 2022, the couple purchased an apartment on Herodou Attikou Street, which they use during their stays in Greece.
