Panathinaikos: What the “Greens” need for home-court advantage in the EuroLeague

Panathinaikos suffered a defeat against Paris at OAKA but still holds control over securing home-court advantage in the final two games of the regular season

Paris prevailed over Panathinaikos at OAKA, preventing the Greek Cup winners from locking in home-court advantage in the playoffs as early as Round 32 of the regular season.

Now, Panathinaikos faces matchups against Monaco (April 3, away) and Crvena Zvezda (April 11, home). If the “Greens” win just one of these two remaining games, they will secure home-court advantage in the playoffs.

Moreover, if they manage to defeat Monaco next week in the Principality by at least four points, they will overturn the deficit from their loss at OAKA (88-91) and guarantee at least third place in the standings.
