As reported by expatriate media, she has been fighting a valiant battle for her health for over a year. Reports and social media posts indicate that she was a well-loved woman who leaves a significant footprint.

Eddie Zemenides expressed in a Facebook post his deepest appreciation to all those who stood by the side of the deceased herself throughout her tough battle for her life, as well as to his family.

“Maybe one day I’ll find words, but today I won’t. Thanks to my dear friend, Lena Argyris, for this tribute to Vicki – and thanks to everyone who showed us love and strengthened our spirits throughout this battle. The end came very suddenly, but you helped her have more good days than bad throughout.”
