Novak Djokovic: Settles permanently in Glyfada and trains with his son in Kavouri

The Serbian tennis star is now a permanent resident of Athens, with his two children starting school in the Greek capital

Newsroom September 9 07:40

After his US Open exit, Novak Djokovic arrived in Athens on Sunday (September 7) for permanent relocation.

The Serbian player, holder of the most Grand Slam titles in tennis history, had come to Athens earlier in the summer with his wife and two children to find a home and school for the kids.

After conducting his search, he decided to settle in the southern suburbs. His new home is in Glyfada, while a private school for his son Stefan and daughter Tara is also located in the south.

On Tuesday morning, Djokovic tested out the Greek courts, visiting a tennis facility in Kavouri to train alongside his son Stefan.

Novak appears enthusiastic about his new life in Greece, and fans in the southern suburbs frequently stop him for photos and autographs.

Djokovic is also looking for an academy to run in Athens, while for his own training, the Tatoi Club seems to be his preferred choice.
