The head of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office Laura Kovesi is expected to visit Athens in the next 24 hours. During her stay in the capital, she will have meetings with ministers, government officials, the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, and will also visit the offices of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
He will also visit the European Commission and the European Parliament.
In particular, among other things, he will meet with the Minister of Justice Giorgos Florides. On the agenda of the meeting with Mr. Florides is the request of Laura Kovesi to strengthen the European Public Prosecutor’s Office in Greece.
He will also meet with the Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriacos Pierrakakis, the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Konstantinos Tzavelas and others.
However, no meeting has been scheduled with Supreme Court President Anastasia Papadopoulou.
