Next phase of the ceasefire called for by Hamas, without the delivery of the bodies being completed

Israel claims that the organisation is deliberately delaying the delivery of some of the bodies, while Hamas claims it is unable to locate them

Newsroom October 17 03:50

Hamas called on international mediators to continue implementing the next phase of the ceasefire agreed with Israel under the auspices of the United States, although the process remains incomplete due to the failure to hand over the bodies of the latest hostages.

In a statement, the organization said in a statement that it is necessary to complete the formation of a Social Support Committee, which will take over the management of administrative issues in Gaza, in accordance with the agreement reached with US mediation.

However, the first phase of the deal is not yet complete, as Hamas has not handed over the bodies of the last 19 hostages who died. Israel claims that the organisation is deliberately delaying the handover of some of the bodies, while Hamas claims it is unable to locate them due to widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip.
