The rescue of 25 illegal migrants found in a dinghy south of Gavdos proceeded on Monday (3/11) at noon by the Flag Guard.
According to ERT, the boat with the migrants was spotted 30 nautical miles south of Gavdos by FRONTEX aircraft, while a Coast Guard patrol boat rushed to the spot.
The police station was also visited by a police patrol.
The 25 foreigners were taken to the port of Chora Sfakia and from there by bus to the exhibition center of Agias.
