AEK was named the best team of the 4th matchday in the Conference League, following a related vote, according to UEFA. The “Union” celebrated a great victory in Florence against Fiorentina, with a goal from Gacinovic (35′), and was voted the best performance among the 36 teams in the competition.

The Greek team prevailed over the other nominee, Sigma Olomouc, who had won (2-1) against Celje, which until yesterday held the top spot.
