Christmas 2025 shop hours begin today in Athens and Piraeus

The festive opening hours of commercial stores for Christmas in Athens and Piraeus begin today, while in Thessaloniki, they start next Saturday, December 13.

On Friday, Athens and Thessaloniki will open on Saturday, Saturday, September 11, and Saturday, September 11, 2013.

Shops will be open from 9 am to 9 pm.

Holiday hours: Which Sunday shops will be open in December

Based on existing legislation and the context of the winter offers, shops will be open on the following three Sundays in December:

-14 December 2025
-21 December 2025
-28 December 2025

Countdown to holiday hours

The festive opening hours for the Christmas period have already been announced by the Commercial Associations of Athens and Piraeus and will come into effect in a few days.

As it is reminded, the opening hours are indicative and each store can set its own schedule, as long as it complies with the limits set by the legislation (Monday-Saturday 6:00-21:00 and Sunday 11:00-20:00).
