The Syrian army has begun shelling the Kurdish neighborhoods of Aleppo, in northern Syria, with artillery fire after the deadline given to their residents to leave them expired, according to a French News Agency reporter on the ground.
The Syrian armed forces had announced that these two districts, controlled by Kurdish forces, would be considered a 15:00 (local time, 14:00 GMT) “military zone” and had designated two “humanitarian corridors” through which thousands of civilians had previously fled, according to French News Agency reporters.
