Temperatures will remain very low in the country today, with frost – heavy in places in the north – in the morning and evening hours, while a new deterioration of the weather is expected from the weekend, according to the latest forecasts of meteorologists.
In a post, meteorologist Thodoros Kolydas noted that although the next few days will generally resemble Alcyonides, they do not meet the necessary criteria to be classified as such, mainly due to low minimum temperatures.
As he points out, minimum temperatures, despite a gradual rise, will remain at levels that favor frost, especially in northern Greece. Over the weekend, in fact, temperatures will drop again, but without reaching extreme lows.
Clear weather until Friday, change from Saturday

However, according to the latest forecasts, a change in the weather is expected from Saturday, initially from the west and east. The phenomena in these areas will persist until the evening, while from Sunday, the winter scenery will return more intensely.
Frost is expected today and tomorrow in several areas of the country, although maximum temperatures will rise. On Saturday, however, temperatures in the north will drop again.
